Response Services
The Division will provide the following services
Helpline Services
To avail helpline services, anyone can call 1010. All mental health related calls will be forwarded to the PEMA Helpline. The PEMA Helpline provides information, online counselling as well as referral and linkages. Call 1098 to report or avail services for women and child protection issues.
Case Management Services
All referred or walk in cases will be assessed to identify risks and needs. If a case require case management services, a case manager will be assigned to facilitate interventions from relevant agencies.
Counselling Services
Online as well as face to face counselling services are available. All referred as well as identified and walk in cases can access counselling services.
Post-vention Services to Families and Friends Affected by Suicide
While the Prevention and Engagement Division will carryout early identification screening to identify individuals in need of help, the Response Service Division will be basically responding to critical incidents and minimize suicide contagion through post-vention services to families and close ones of the individuals who die by suicide.
Adoption and Alternative Care Services
All adoption and Alternative Care Services will be provided as per the legal provisions. The Response Service Division will facilitate the process.
