To commemorate Her Majesty Gyaltsuen’s 34th Birth Anniversary, The PEMA in collaboration with Changangkha Middle Secondary School and Yangchengatshel Higher Secondary School hosted a special program at Changangkha Middle Secondary School with the students with disabilities.

Hon’ble Lynopo Dr. Tandin Dorji, Chairperson of the Privy Council, graced the occasion as the guest of honour. The event was attended by Thw PEMA Board members, officials from SELWA, MoESD, the Disabled People’s Organization, Ability Bhutan Society, Phensem, Draktsho, Bhutan Red Cross Society, and OGOP.
The program included a series of exciting variety shows performed by students of inclusive education from Changangkha Middle Secondary School and Yangchen Gatshel Higher Secondary School. Prior to the event, art competitions were held among SEN schools with the theme “Her Majesty’s Birth Anniversary,” and winners from various schools were awarded prizes during the celebration.

The day was a beautiful tribute to Her Majesty, filled with talent, creativity, and joy. The PEMA wishes for the good health and long life of Our Beloved Gyaltsuen.
