In Paro, The PEMA had the opportunity to sensitize journalists from various media houses on our vision, mandates, programmes, services and plans. The group also discussed the importance of child sensitive reporting to enhance positive impact of media and prevent unintended negative consequences of stories covered. The discussion also highlighted the pivotal role of media in promoting mental health and wellbeing of the community.
