A simple ceremony was conducted today to celebrate Her Majesty The Gyaltsuen’s 33rd Birth Anniversary. The members of The PEMA Board and the Staff of The PEMA Secretariat offered Karma Tongchoe at  Chenrezig Lhakhang, Lungtenphu. It was then followed by offering of Her Majesty The Gyaltsuen’s Zhabten and cake offering ceremony at the Department of Psychiatry, JDWNRH (The PEMA Centre). The event was attended by the Hospital Lam, staff of the hospital and the members of the Recovery Support Group, Thimphu. Simultaneously, the Compulsory Drug Treatment Centre in Serbithang and SUD Units of ERRH and CRRH also observed the day with Karme Jamchoe and prayers for Her Majesty The Gyaltsuen’s good health, wellbeing and long life. Meanwhile, in Phuntsholing Hospital, the Hospital-based SUD Treatment and Care Services was launched to mark the Day.
