The Hospital-based Substance use disorder (SUD)Treatment and Care Services, which was launched by Her Majesty The Gyaltsuen on World Mental Health Day, was officially rolled out at the Psychiatric Department, JDWNRH, earlier today. The programme aims to increase access to compassionate care and holistic treatment and establish an effective referral pathway.

The Hospital-based outpatient treatment programme is recommended for patients who are highly motivated and who are unable to commit to long-term residential programme due to occupational or social circumstances. It is also recommended for people who have completed residential treatment programme for continuing care.
